I am Laxmikant Sharma. My work right now is agent infrastructure: workload identity and spec design across A2A, A2P, and MCP, an agent mesh with an edge gateway in front of it, and the policy machinery (OPA, Cedar, CEL) that decides what an agent may actually do. PACT, my IETF Internet-Draft, comes from the same question: when agents hire other agents, what binds the work to the money to the proof?
Before this I co-founded EmachineLabs and ran it as CTO: an agentic low/no-code platform that took ideas from prompt to deployed app, with more than 250 apps in production and prototype time collapsing from six to eight weeks to under two hours. Before that, a decade at PayPal leading merchant services and the developer platform: API standards and SDKs behind 20M+ daily transactions across 18+ public APIs serving 25M+ merchants, and developer.paypal.com end to end. Earlier still, release and reliability engineering at eBay, and trading and telecom systems in the six years before that.
I hold U.S. Patent 11,126,494 for automated, adaptive, auto-remediating production systems, a second on software tests as executable resources, and more filed around AI-powered developer experience. Electrical engineering at NIT, class of 2001.
